Flink, Halling-Overgaard & Partners provide legal consultancy services for both the business community and private individuals. Our clients include small and medium-size companies, insurance companies, accountancy firms and banks.
Flink, Halling-Overgaard & Partners have particular experience in the area of commercial law, with special focus on professional consultant liability, generational change and tax-related issues. Consultancies often contact us with questions relating to case processing. We also take on a number of cases for private individuals in such areas as house sales, marriage contracts and wills.
All of our solicitors possess considerable experience in procedure, negotiation and guidance within the aforementioned specialised areas, in addition to which each individual staff member has special core competencies. Several of our solicitors are attached to the University of Aarhus as external associate professors, and we also offer courses in subjects within the firm's sphere of competence.
Company structure
The law firm consists of 4 solicitors and eight administrative staff. The simplicity of the firm’s structure gives us freedom from time-consuming internal procedures – and the scope and time to undertake direct and close dialogue with our clients.
We emphasise personal guidance, so that the client always knows who is responsible for the case processing. We believe that our clients should be able to contact us quickly and easily, whether by telephone, e-mail or a personal meeting.
We make a virtue of informality in our dialogue with clients, and strive to make legal processes clear and comprehensible. Clarifying complex legal matters is a challenge we are glad to take up, as it is to the benefit of all our clients, whether their knowledge of the law is extensive or limited. As all our legal staff frequently appear in court cases, we are well experienced in conflict management.
Objective
Our objective is to provide the best guidance within our core areas, with the clear aim of generating value for the client. This value will naturally depend on the individual cases, but in general it will encompass clarity, reasonableness and a financially viable result.

History
The firm of Flink, Halling-Overgaard & Partners was founded in 1993 by the solicitors Erik Flink and Søren Halling-Overgaard. Both felt that focusing on the area of commercial law would be an interesting and rewarding enterprise – both for the legal firm itself, and for its clients. Commercial law is a challenging area which is in a constant state of flux. It demands both the ability to go into depth and at the same time keep clients up to date – without, however, tiring them with details.
